Katy van’tSchip
Katy graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia after completing a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. She developed a passion for both musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy early on in her career, and underwent further course work to specialise as a pelvic health physiotherapist to integrate her interests into practice. Katy employs a holistic approach to assessment, tying in her knowledge of the pelvic floor to form a uniquely comprehensive treatment style for her patients.
Katy particularly enjoys treating ante and postnatal women, incontinence, and pelvic pain conditions. She also has experience and interest in running and sports injuries, fractures, post-surgical, and hand and wrist injuries. Katy strives to make her sessions goal-oriented and individualised, and to understand everyone’s “why” behind their recovery journey.
When not in the clinic, Katy can be found traveling, hiking, strength training, or eating her way through London.
Katy is an affiliate member of the Association of Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapists (POGP) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
