Carrie Lawrence

A mother of two boys, Carrie has experienced first-hand the emotional and physical toll the symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction can have not only on a woman, but on her family and her relationships too.

Carrie counts herself as ‘one of the lucky ones’ to have received excellent pelvic health care as a new mother. This enabled her to recover quickly and focus on her family, her own wellbeing, and re-engaging in her pre-baby love of running. She is not shy to discuss her symptoms or the pelvic health issues she has faced and is passionate about better health outcomes for women from all stages and walks of life. Hence the launch of LETO in 2021.

Carrie has worked in women’s health for the duration of her working life, primarily in oncology and bone health research. Today she leans heavily on her legal training and project management skills to ensure LETO and Beyond Health run as smoothly as possible – so the outstanding practitioners and customer services team she works collaboratively with can focus on what they do best, and deliver the best possible service to their clients!
